There are various benefits to educational, cultural, and social exchanges between the two nations. Our students learn about your literature, your traditional dance Kalinga, your food habits, your climate etc , and we hope that your children also learn about ours.
These exchanges encourages friendships and networks among students from diverse backgrounds, promoting understanding and appreciation of each other's cultures, traditions, and languages. This contributes a sense of global citizenship among young people.
Exposure to Russian literature, such as the works of Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, and Pushkin, has deepened our appreciation for storytelling and characterization. Conversely, Indian literature and poetry, including the works of Tagore and others, have enhanced understanding of themes like spirituality and humanism in Russian literature.
We have experienced a fusion of dance traditions, with Indian classical dance styles finding appreciation in Russia, while Russian dance has enriched our understanding of the performing arts.
There is a mutual interest in philosophical ideas, with Indian philosophies like Vedanta and Buddhism.
In a nutshell, the cultural exchange between India and Russia enriches personal experiences, encourages friendships, and contributes to a broader understanding of the world.
